Connecting your bank account is my top priority. That way, you can manage and track your bank transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO) quickly.
There are some possible reasons why you're unable to connect to the SBI bank account in QBO.
Financial Institution has maintenance
Your bank doesn't connect to all types of accounts
Full of cache and cookies
Incorrect bank's name or URL
Let's log in to your bank's website, then review the notifications if they have maintenance and the types of accounts.
Once confirmed and the issue keeps going, I'd recommend doing fundamental troubleshooting steps to isolate the problem. Stored cache files on your browser can sometimes cause this to happen.
We can begin by accessing your account in incognito. These browsers won't save any browsing histories. Feel free to use these shortcut keys:
If you're able to do so, we'll have to go back to your normal browser and clear the cache to drop the junk files. Using other supported browsers is a good option also.
If there's no progress, I'd advise importing the data using a comma-separated values (CSV) file as a workaround. That way, you can categorise and reconcile your accounts whenever you’re ready.
Here's how:
Download the data from your bank.
Go to the Banking tab, then click the Link account drop-down.
Choose the Upload from file button.
Tap Browse, then hit Next.
Pick the account in the QuickBooks account box and click Next.
Additionally, can you please let me know if you receive any errors while connecting your bank account? This way, I can double-check our reports if we have an open case about connecting accounts.
I've also added some articles about handling bank transactions, fixing some errors., and other topics.
