What does Business Number Means?

Allow me to explain to you on what does Business Number means.

Business Number (BN) or Your Business Number is a nine-digit account number that identifies your business to federal, provincial, and municipal governments. You'll need to file a registration to the National Economic Register so you can get your Business Number.

Take note that you can open several different accounts for your business through a single registration.

The accounts include the following:

• GST/HST
• Payroll deductions
• Corporate income tax
• Import/export
