Can i disconnect the bank account?

It's vital that all your transactions are entered in your books so that your bank account balance in the software matches reality. QuickBooks Online allows you to import bank transactions directly on your bank's site in order to be able to have them all ready for you to categorize. I can provide some information about disconnecting your bank.

In order to disconnect a bank account, navigate to the Accounting tab, then Chart of accounts. Find your account in the list of accounts, then click on the drop-down arrow located beside Account history. Select the Edit option to open up the edit menu, then check the box saying Disconnect upon save. This will disconnect the account when you click the Save button.
