Credit card credit downloaded from banking shows double entry in register. can't reconcile. credit amt $30.02 ok but also a charge of $28.59 (without GST) on another line

Being able to successfully reconcile your accounts is an essential part of your business. I'll be happy to guide you with untangling this issue. 

Based on what you've described, it sounds like you'd like to delete one of the transactions. Here's how to do that: 

1. Go to Sales tab and choose Customers.
2. Click on the customer's name.
3. On the Transaction List, open the payment you've processed.
4. At the bottom part, click on More and select Delete.
5. Hit Yes to confirm.
