How do I disconnect a bank account?

Thanks for connecting with us here.  Welcome!  QuickBooks Online has the features you need to accomplish your daily bookkeeping goals seamlessly.  Disconnecting a bank account can be done in a few easy steps.  I'd be happy to help!

When using the QuickBooks Online app, you'll find there are some product limitations.  I suggest opening your QuickBooks account from a browser and follow these steps to disconnect your bank account:

1. Open Banking or Transactions from the left menu

2. Click on the tile for the bank account you want to disconnect

3. Select the Edit ✎ icon, then Edit account info

4. Choose Disconnect this account on save

5. Hit Save and close

That's it!
