Being able to sync and remove bank accounts is one of the many options QuickBooks Online provides to you. I'd be happy to help you get your bank account removed from automatically syncing.
In order to remove the link between QuickBooks Online and your bank you just need to follow these simple steps:
Go to the Banking menu or Transactions menu. Then select the Banking tab.
Select the tile for the bank account.
Select the pencil ✎ icon, then select Edit account info.
Select the Disconnect this account on save checkbox. Note: If QuickBooks is downloading new transactions, you won't see this option. Wait a few minutes for the update to finish and try again.
Select Save and Close.
And that is all there is to it. Once you hit save and close your bank will no longer be linked.
