Hey stephhinsperger,

Automatic synchronization with your bank accounts is one of QuickBooks Online's biggest selling point, but it's completely optional. You can still take full advantage of the powerful tracking for sales tax and receivables, as well as a more convenient reconciliation experience. I'll be happy to help you find this register.

The Banking tab is designed to be the hub for your connected financial accounts. That being said, you can easily pull up an accounts register with just a few clicks:

  1. Head to your Accounting tab and select Chart of Accounts.
  2. For your bank account, click on Account history.

This page can be filtered and sorted as needed, so you can adapt it to your specific needs. If you'd ever like to import your bank transactions without the automatic connection, many of our users prefer to manually upload their bank feeds every few weeks.
