Connection issues can occur due to actions needed on your bank's website or incorrect bank credentials in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Shireen.
Beforehand, could you please let us know what bank you’re using and if you’ve encountered any specific errors while checking your bank connections in QBO? This information will help us better understand your situation and provide more assistance.
To resolve this issue, I recommend reviewing your bank’s website for any maintenance, updates, or account actions that need your attention. You can contact your bank’s support if you need further help.
If your bank's end is fine, ensure the account information in QBO matches your bank's records to fix any discrepancies. To check, go to the Banking tab in QBO, select the account, and click the Pencil icon.
If you've verified that your bank account information is correct and you're still having connection issues, I suggest navigating to the Banking Transactions page in QBO and selecting Update. Follow the prompts, which may require signing into your bank’s website or entering additional details. To prevent errors, type your credentials manually instead of copying and pasting.
Once connected, ensure all accounts are enabled so their transactions are imported. You can also check for errors in the Manage Connections to identify and resolve any issues.
