Hello there. I'm here to help you fix the error message you've encountered so you can add a service item seamlessly. 

We can manually import a list of your inventory item from Excel to QBO. You're unable to do it when you mark them as inventory. That said, you'll need to transfer them as non-inventory items. 

Once imported, it can't be undone and only do this 1,000 rows at a time. If your list is longer, split it into multiple, smaller files.

Here's how you can do it:

1. Go to Settings and select Import Data.
2. Choose Products and Services.
3. Select Browse to upload the file from your computer. Choose the file, and then select Open.
4. Click Next.
5. Map your information. Your Field represents the headers on your spreadsheet. Select the one that matches a field in QuickBooks Online from each drop-down menu.
6. Tick Next.
7. If you see some cells highlighted in red, the cell is invalid. Check the cell in your spreadsheet and try importing again.
8. Select Overwrite all values for each product or service with the same name. Ensure everything looks correct because this can't be undone.
9. Hit Import.
