How to move a category that’s in the wrong section I have an expense of contract labour which is in the asset category and I want to move it to the expense one

I've got the steps on how we can recategorize the transactions, jfarrance.

If the items are not in your bank register yet, you can follow these steps:

1. From the Banking tab, select Banking.
2. Go to the For Review section.
3. Locate and select the transaction to open it.
4. Select an expense Category under Categorize.
5. Click Add.

If the transactions are already in the Reviewed section of your Banking page, undo and follow the steps above to change the category.

Once done, you're good to review the books to ensure accurate data. You can do this by reconciling the accounts.
