I wish to number credit notes that are sent to my customers, can this be done in Quickbooks?

I'll share with you the steps on how you can add a credit note number. Let's go to your account and settings to see it.

1. Go to the Gear menu at the top. Then, select Account and settings.
2. Tap the Sales tab.
3. Tick the Pencil icon in the Sales form content section.
4. Turn on Custom transaction numbers. 
5. Click Save and then Done. See the attached screenshots below.
