Linking desktop and app

I have set up my account with all of my transactions etc then I downloaded the app and tried putting in some mileage from it, the mileage appeared on the desktop version so it is linked but nothing from my desktop version is showing on my app. How do I get the app to show everything too?

QuickBooks is a cloud-based application that stores and syncs all of your data, meaning any data entered on the app will also show on the web.

Please check that you have the correct app installed for your subscription-type; we have the QuickBooks Accounting app (for QuickBooks Online) and QuickBooks Self-Employed.
