My Year start is October, decided to go digital as Obviously signed up for MTD. Do I need to enter all account info to date before I do MTD for this period ?

Making Tax Digital (MTD) for VAT became mandatory starting in April 2019. Thus, making QuickBooks Online fully MTD ready to help those affected businesses keep up with the HMRC mandate. 

If your fiscal year will start in October this year, you'll need to start accounting your business transactions by October. If your fiscal year started October last year, then you'll need to enter account information beginning April 2019.
