Tax tables will not update on desktop 2024

Are you receiving a specific error message or error code when you attempt the update? In the meantime, your system may have already downloaded the update in the background. You can verify this by checking your current tax table version. If your version shows 123343003, your tax table is already completely up to date.

 

Here's how to check:

 

  1. Go to the Employees menu.
  2. Click My Payroll Service and select Tax Table Information.
  3. Check the tax table version listed.

 

If it shows an older version, please ensure your QuickBooks Desktop is updated to the latest release first, as this allows the system to pull the new tax tables.
