Adding an employee

You can access your company file using an incognito or private browser, Lisa. I'll guide you through the process to ensure you can input state information in your employee's profile in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

The browser you use to access your company file accumulates temporary internet files that can affect how the program works. We recommend performing basic browser troubleshooting to ensure yours is free from temporary data and restore it to its default function. To begin, you'll want to access your company file using an incognito or private browser through these shortcut keys:

• Safari 11 or newer: ⌘+Shift+N
• Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
• Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P
• Safari: Command+Shift+N

Once done, go to the employee's section and select the employee for whom you're trying to add a state. Ensure to enter the correct state of the employee for tracking purposes.
