Thanks for posting here in the Community space, Joann. Let me share some steps and information about mileage in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
I can see the importance of managing your mileage. However, inputting all of the mileage at once is not possible. Instead, we can manually enter the specific trip date.
Here's how:
Go to Expenses, then Mileage.
From there, fill out the details from the Add Trip fields.

I did these steps, however the only option it allows me to do is pull up report for this year and last year, I wanted to see if there was another way to do 1 entry for the whole year.
To begin with, please be reminded that the mileage tab does not have a reporting option. Can you tell us if you clicked the drop-down list for the tax year?
Moreover, to manually enter a business trip, make sure to click Add trip in the right-hand corner as shown in the screenshot below.
You can enter the total miles or distance for the entire year, instead of inputting them one at a time. It's important to note that QuickBooks uses the standard mileage method to estimate your tax deductions. This method involves multiplying your total business miles by the current rate per mile set by the IRS. It's always best to refer to the IRS website for the latest mileage rates, as they can change over time.
