Can I run Payroll in self employ account?

Let me assist you and make everything clear about running a payroll.

In QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), you have to use other plans to run our payroll services as we're unable to set up payroll using a QBSE subscription. There are a lot of QuickBooks Online plans you can check out that can suit your business needs.

If you wish to upgrade your subscriptions, you can convert from QuickBooks Self-Employed to QuickBooks Online. Please note that the conversion process is irreversible.

To run payroll after the conversion, I'd be glad to show you how:

1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online account.
2. On the left navigational panel, look for Payroll.
3. Then select Employees.
4. Click Get Started and choose the payroll service of your choice.

Once done, you can now start with our QuickBooks Online Payroll services.
