Yes, sugulle. It's a pleasure to have you here. The standard lead time for processing a direct deposit is usually two business days before the pay date. You can easily make adjustments within the program or contact our payroll experts.
If you're using QuickBooks Online Payroll Premium and Elite, you can change the direct deposit date, but you'll need to request it first within the program. The review process typically takes up to two business days, and you will receive an email once approved.
Here's how to request for faster funding time:
Head over to the Gear icon. Press Payroll settings.
Select Edit in the Direct Deposit section.
Click Request same-day payroll, then follow the prompts.
In case your request is still under review by September 12, 2024, I suggest using a paper check as a workaround. You can do this by following these steps:
Head over to the Payroll menu, then Employees.
Hit Run payroll. Choose your preferred pay schedule.
Pick the specific employee.
Below the employee's name, tick the dropdown to switch the pay method to Paper check.
Preview payroll and submit.
For future reference, if you want to view a detailed summary of your company's expenses, including employee salaries, bonuses, taxes, and other related costs, run a payroll report.
Ensuring timely payment is crucial for your business's success and employees' well-being. I aim to address all your queries. Thanks for reaching out and allowing me to clarify this. Much success to you, sugulle!
