cant find 2025 w-2 for employee

Hi there, Janice61344. W-2's can be found in your Payroll taxes and under Archived forms. However, if you haven't filed your W-2 within QuickBooks, you'll not be able to view it there.

To view it you can go to Payroll Taxes > Filings > Resources > W-2s. Then, look for your processed W-2. Ensure to filter the correct date to ensure the data will show up.

If the employee is set up with QuickBooks Workforce, they may have opted for paperless delivery. Check the Employee tab to see if they’ve been invited. They'll have the option to download their own copy directly from the Workforce portal.
