I stupidly filed the Federal 941 before I ran the May payroll. Now QB won't let me do payroll. How do I stop the 941 or get it corrected so I can do payroll tonight?

Once federal forms are filed electronically, they can't be canceled. To request an amendment, you can reach out to our support team. Here's how:

Log in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) company.
Navigate to the Help (?) menu.
Open the Search tab and select Contact Us.
Under the What can we help you with? window, pick Payroll.
Choose the Chat or Callback option.

Our support hours are as follows:

QBO Payroll Core: Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 6 PM PT.
QBO Payroll Premium and Elite: any time, any day.
