Hi, I've been struggling to enter payroll tax payment made outside of QBO. It says "Payment submission failed.". I never had this before this year. Any tips?

The error Payment submission failed when recording payroll tax payment has been determined by our product team to currently be a design limitation of the system, Hometownhealthoxford.

While the option you're looking for isn't available, we encourage you to submit your feedback to our product developers within your QuickBooks Online Payroll account. This will help our team better understand your concerns and suggestions, ultimately improving your experience with the program.

To send feedback, here's how:

1. Go to the Gear icon at the top.
2. Select Feedback.
3. Enter your comments or product suggestions. 
4. Then select Next to submit feedback.

I also suggest contacting our Live Support Team for assistance with another way to record historical tax payments. They have the tools to pull up your account in a secure environment and properly check your account so they can provide options.

1. Click the (?) Help button at the top-right corner of your QBO account.
2. Choose the Assistant tab to get help from the QB Assistant where QB Assistant will provide answers.
3. Click on the Contact Us option to reach an expert for assistance. Remember, you must first submit a question or look for an article to access the Contact Us feature.
