Question

Horrible new feature for payroll taxes

I want to formally make a complaint about the NEW payroll tax withdrawals.  I do not want them doing my taxes for me.  They can’t even get sales tax right for my state.  I sure do not want them trying to pay our taxes correctly.  The business is ultimately responsible for the timeliness and correctness of our reporting and paying.  How is Quickbooks getting away with taking our money and basically earning interest on the monies until they feel they are due?

100% agree with this! I find it outrageous that there is NO opt out on this, it should NOT be forced. If a company wants Quickbooks/Intuit to do this, then fine, but don’t force companies to do this. Or if they were remitting the taxes right away, (which we don’t want either) but they are holding the money. We don’t want them withdrawing our taxes prior to them even being due and holding the money for their own advantage. We should be able to decide.
