Horrible new payroll tax policy
If anyone would like to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau about the new Quickbooks Online payroll tax policy, please do it here: https://www.bbb.org/file-a-complaint
This new policy means that Intuit will REQUIRE all QBO users to authorize Intuit to withdraw, manage, and pay payroll taxes on behalf of your small business. This also means that Intuit will take our money the day we process payroll and hold it (in my case, for up to six weeks!) until our payroll taxes are due. This is a terrible thing for a small business's cash flow, not to mention Intuit will be earning interest on OUR money for weeks before they turn those funds over to the tax agencies. If anyone at Intuit cares about their small business customers, this policy should immediately be reversed. Let ME decide how/when to pay my own payroll taxes, please.
