Hi Grace, thanks for the reply. I think what you showed me is for the desktop version. I have the online version and I don't see where to set up paycheck printing preferences. Can you confirm?
I'll confirm the steps and elaborate the instructions given by my colleague. I'll also throw in a solution to fix content issues while navigating in QuickBooks Online.
Grace's steps are for the QuickBooks Online version. As what she mentioned, the Paycheck Printing Settings is available under the Preferences. I'll add screenshots to help you navigate more easily:
If you're unable to find it or if it doesn't show up, then let's check to see if this is a cache-related issue. When a browser's storage is full or corrupted, it won't display contents such as links, images, or some parts of the webpage.
Use an incognito or private window to rule out this issue:
Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
From there, log in to QuickBooks Online and do the same steps again. After enabling the option to add the phone number, go back to your regular browser and clear the cache. Alternatively, use another supported browser to turn on the option.
If you're using the QuickBooks Online Windows app, click the Help menu then choose Reset App Data. It works exactly like clearing the browser's cache.
After fixing the issue, do you need help managing your QuickBooks Online Payroll services? Our articles are available for you to read. They contain guides, information about payroll taxes and the likes. Check them out here. Change the product by selecting another under the Topics for section (if you need help with QuickBooks Online in general).
I'm happy to help you out again. Post your replies here if you have questions or concerns with your payroll services or for QuickBooks Online. I hope you're having a nice Sunday.
