How can I see payroll in P&L by account?

In QuickBooks Online, running Profit & Loss by Account to see all the payroll expenses is unavailable. Instead, you can customize the report and change the Display columns by Employees.

Here's how:

1. Go to the Reports menu.
2. Type in Profit and Loss report.
3. Enter the correct reporting period.
4. Choose Employee from the Display column by section.
5. Select Customize.
6. Select the details you'd like to see.
7. Click on Run report.
