I can't update work locations in QBO

QuickBooks charges more every year, and the support gets worse......I have gone around and around with the AI bot and cannot get connected to a live support person.  The only option provided is to pay for the Bookkeeping service and get support that way, which is unacceptable. 

 

I have two work locations in my Payroll Settings-Work Locations.  Neither are accurate.  I see no way to add a new location, and my options to change locations are greyed out.  My issue is identical to the thread below, but the "solution" provided there is to use the Help feature in QBO, which only puts me in chat bot hell.  How does this get fixed?  https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/employees-and-payroll/changing-primary-work-location/00/1580766

The option to add a new location in your payroll settings isn’t available because paychecks were already processed before the setup. I can walk you through how to get in touch with our support team so they can further assist you.

 

Here's how to reach out:

 

  1. Go to the Help icon on the top menu.
  2. Select the Search tab and enter your concern. For instance, enter help.
  3. Click the Contact Us button and choose between Chat or Callback to connect with us.
