Question

I have an employee that came back after two years on a part time basis. However when i reactivated their account it gives them a error message that they are not an emp.

When they try to log on the error message is that they are not a current employee.

You can reinvite your employee so they can regain access to their QuickBooks Workforce account, @JLaw20.

 

To reinvite your employees, have them log into QuickBooks Workforce. After you send the invitation, they will receive an email with a link to set up their access.

 

When the employee accepts the invitation, they will need to either create a new account or use an existing email linked to an Intuit account, possibly from an old QuickBooks Workforce account.

 

Once set up, they can update their information (if you selected that option), opt out of receiving a mailed copy of their W-2, and view their pay stubs and W-2s. You can find more details in this guide: Invite your employees to see pay stubs, W-2s, and more.

 

Also, ensure you have the latest version of the QuickBooks app and that your device's operating system is up to date.
