Paid for this app hoping to create a 1099 and I’m very disappointed

Hi there, thank you for bringing this up. I totally understand how important it is to get this process sorted out. Please know that you can create 1099s within QuickBooks Online using the 1099 E-File service. 

To get started, here's a helpful article that will walk you through the process of preparing and filing 1099s in QuickBooks: Create and file 1099s.
 

You can either prepare it with QuickBooks help or let QuickBooks prepare it for you. Here's how:

1. Head to Payroll, and select Contractors.
2. Click Prepare 1099s.
3. Select the option to Let QuickBooks do it, then Get started.
4. Make sure your company name, email, address, and tax ID is correct and matches what's found on tax notices or letters from the IRS. Click Edit to make any changes.
5. Select View results.
6. Review your 1099s.
