Payroll Tax E-Payment Confirmation

Is anyone else having issues with receiving payroll tax e-payment confirmation?

I submitted several payroll tax e-payments yesterday on different companies and normally receive an email confirmation within an hour; however, I have not received anything yet.  I logged onto EFTPS and it shows they have not even been submitted. I logged into Quickbooks to check the status and it just says "Submitted to Intuit."

It's great to see you back in the Community! 

 

When you receive the status, "Submitted to Intuit," it means that the e-payment or e-filed form has been submitted to Intuit. The next status you should see, will be "Submitted to the agency." Then once the agency accepts the e-payment or e-filed form it will show this, "Agency accepted." 

 

There are other status responses that can be shown for rejections. However, I recommend reviewing this guide to learn more: Check the status of your payroll tax payments or filings sent through payroll

 

As of right now, it seems that you may need to wait until the e-payment goes through to the agency and then wait for the agency to accept it before you'd get the confirmation that the transaction is complete.

 

 If you think this may be a mistake and doesn't usually take this long, I recommend contacting our Customer Support Team for further assistance. Here's how: 

 

  1. Go to the Help menu. 
  2. Press QuickBooks Desktop Help option. 
  3. Click on the Contact Us button. 
  4. Enter your question and hit Let's talk
  5. Scroll down and choose to Get a callback.

I am also having the same issue. I need to know why it is not submitting to the EFTPS website. Please advise on what I can do?

I just spent two hours on the phone with tech support.  They said they could not tell me if anyone else was having this issue.  I scheduled the payment Saturday to come out today and it did not process.  They said it was not their fault.  Their best suggestion was to go to EFTPS and post it manually if I was worried about it.  They said there was nothing they could do about getting it to the next step of submitting to agency.

I am having the same issue. Usually goes right thru but now stuck and not submitted to the agency.
