Question

Unable to be added to company account

Hi!

I just started at a new job, I have seen the invite to the company in my email through Gusto but when trying to accept it, it takes me to the Quick books Workforce login, I am able to add my long in info but after logging in I get an error that says “there is no company associated with this account” and it kicks me back to the login page. On my companies end it says I have received and accepted the invite. They haven't been able to delete my profile in there system to resend. I have called Quickbooks twice, the second time a ticket was put in and was told I would get a call back. I haven’t heard anything. My manager has also called a few times and has been unable to speak with someone to fix the issue.

We appreciate the details you provided. First, could you clarify what product your company is using? Is it Gusto? If so, your employer will need to reach out to their support team instead, because employee invitation setups and backend system links are controlled directly through the company's payroll admin account.

If you meant something else, feel free to add a reply below.

Hi!
Ok so we have figured a few things out, I am on pay roll ٩( ᐛ )و , I can also now clock in and out! However, I still can’t log into the Workforce app and see my schedule, still getting the “there is no company associated with this account” and can’t get past that and into my account at all.

Today on the computer, I was not able to log into my account to reply to this. It was giving me the “there is no company associated with this account” error again (I’m replying now on browser on my phone).

Is there any way me having an account with a different email is interfering with this one? I have an account for my taxes under the same name and my phone number is also attached to that account

Thanks! Phix

I'm glad to hear you are successfully on payroll and can clock in and out. The "no company associated with this account" error usually occurs when there are multiple Intuit accounts involved.

Since you mentioned having an existing account for your taxes, there is a good chance your employer sent the Workforce invite to one email address, while you are attempting to log in with a different one tied to your tax account.

To answer your question, yes, having separate Intuit accounts or sharing the same phone number across different profiles can definitely cause login conflicts. When the Intuit single sign-on system detects overlapping information, it often misroutes your login and triggers this error.

To resolve this, please check the email address your employer used to send the invite and confirm it matches the email you are using to log in at workforce.intuit.com. If these two email addresses do not match, updating or aligning them will fix the issue.

Please don't hesitate to reply here if you need further assistance once you've had a chance to check. We want to make sure you're fully up and running, and we're happy to help with any next steps.
