why do i all of a sudden need to send my paychecks to quickbooks when not using direct deposit?

Hello there, @ckr2.

 

Let me clarify why, even though you don't use direct deposit, you'll still need to provide payroll data to QuickBooks.

 

Ideally, providing us with your payroll data is applicable to both Paper checks and Direct deposits. Doing so helps Intuit to determine the number of employees who are getting paid.

 

Additionally, it's possible that your employee has a standard rate. As a result, you'll need to supply the data in order to adjust the monthly billing. Please also make sure to update your tax table for you to stay compliant with your payroll computations.
