why won't my w9 info save?

I'm trying to save tne W9 I entered the info and it says it is incorrect or missing. It doesn't say what's wrong and I'm typing EXACTLY what I was given. Another W9 I entered exactly as they gave me. I click save and it does NOTHING. Never saves. When I finally reload the page becaues I've given up, it says it's incorrect or missing.

Hi there, @HICatLady. Let's take a few steps together to troubleshoot and ensure your W-9 information is saved in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

Since you've already reloaded the page, please log out of your account. Wait a few moments, then sign back in.

 

If the issue persists, I recommend opening an incognito window to access the product with a clean slate. You can also switch to other supported browsers for better compatibility.     

 

In the meantime, you can invite your contractors to add their own W-9 tax information in QBO.
