EPS resubmitting
HI there
Anyone have any ideas as to how to resubmit my eps as had to undo all payroll and re-do last week due to maternity payments being adjusted. system won't let me re-submit it.
Hello there, Danster75. Thanks for getting back to us.
Let me share some possible reasons why the system won't let us resubmit the EPS in QuickBooks Online.
It could be that we have paid our employees within the current pay period, or we haven't yet paid SPP or SMP before sending EPS. Another reason could be that we have an outstanding payroll for the months. If so, let's ensure to run payroll for the tax month to resubmit the EPS.
To resubmit the EPS, you can follow the steps given these articles depending on the payroll version you're using, as mentioned by my colleague above, since each of them has a different way of filing the EPS.
- Submit EPS to HMRC in QuickBooks Online Standard Payroll.
- File EPS QuickBooks Online Advanced Payroll.
Also, let me include this article where you can gather additional information about handling YOUR QBO payroll: QuickBooks Online Standard Payroll.
Please let me know if you need further assistance in resubmitting your EPS. I'll be here to help you more. Take care and stay safe!
