"Error Occurred" When trying to apply a Direct Earnings Attachment

I am continually getting an "error occurred" message when attempting to enter a Direct Earnings Attachment. This is the second employee this has happened to in the last fortnight. They just won't save, and all I receive is the "error occurred" flashing up at the top of the screen. I thought it might be a browser issue, but have tried "Edge" as well as my usual "Chrome", to no avail.

Let's ensure that your employee details are complete before applying the Direct Earnings Attachments, since an incomplete employee setup can result in errors, Kev L.

Here's how:

  1. Log in to your QBO account.
  2. Go to Payroll, then select Employees.
  3. Select the specific employee and cross-check their details under the Employee Details or Tax Information section.

If everything is set up correctly, yet you still encounter an error while applying the Direct Earnings Attachment, I recommend reaching out to our live support team for assistance in determining the cause of the issue.
