How can I amend a CIS return that is 'rejected'? I have checked our UTR number and Tax Office ref in Settings and both are correct

Hello Sue-twomey,

Welcome to the Community page,

So if you go to the CIS section in taxes, you will be able to resubmit the return that has been rejected as long as you dont need to alter any transactions in it.

Thanks, I will try that with one of the rejected returns. Unfortunately I do need to amend the second (most recent) return. Any tips on how I can do that please?

Thanks for getting back to us, @sue-twomey. I'll point you in the right direction for support with this concern about CIS return in QuickBooks Online.

I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Online Support. They can pull up your account in a secure environment and help in updating the second (most recent) return that you need.

I need help with this, my vat returns and payroll work fine for 5 months I have to go to hmrc and enter manually all settings are correct am I missing something or have I entered incorrectly

Hello Info1566, thanks for commenting on this thread, does it state why it has been rejected for in your account? If not, if you ring the support line to give the agent your details, they will be able to check in the system why it was rejected for. It is free from any UK landline or mobile.
