It’s nice to see you in the Community, heather-uncles.

Let me share some information about using the RTI feature when submitting payroll liabilities to the HMRC.

When running payroll, you’ll have to lodge a Full Payment Summary (FPS) to HMRC. Before submitting the information, make sure to configure your RTI username and password under the HMRC settings section.

Next, create the payroll as normal. Once you’re ready, choose the Lodge Pay Run now to send your pay run to HMRC as soon as you click the finalise button.

If you haven’t signed up to use the RTI, I encourage following the recommended steps in this article. It outlines the steps on how to turn on the feature as well as for instructions about entering HMRC credentials and reference: Turn on RTI reporting to HMRC .

Additionally, the Submit FPS to HMRC in QuickBooks Online Standard Payroll (UK) guide provides detailed information about sending FPS to the HRMC.

Keep me posted if you have any other concerns or questions. I’ll jump right back in to answer them for you. Have a great rest of the day.
