I missed the deadline to submit Month 5 EPS. I then submitted Month 6 the next month but Month 5 still won't submit. How do I resolve this?

When you have sent off month 6 it would have included the information for month 5 as well as month 6. 

So all you need to do is just delete the month 5 eps as it would have been included in the months 6 one.
