I need to pay my staff for april, but it says that the tax year is locked. I can't open it on settingsAny advice as I'm already late paying them

We can reopen your books to pay your staff for April by unlocking them in the Accounts and Settings section in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Thevillageshop73.

Before doing so, please note that you have to be the account's primary admin to reopen the book. If you don't have access, you can request permission from the primary admin to move forward.

Here's how:

1. Login to your QuickBooks account.
2. Click the Gear icon in the upper right corner, then select Account and Settings.
3. In the Advanced tab, click the pencil icon in the Accounting section.
4. Toggle off the Close the books.
5. Click Save, then Done to confirm.

 Once done performing the provided steps above, you can now proceed with processing your payroll to pay your staff for April.
