Is the payroll liability balance shown somewhere else? it is not under reports/employees?

You can run the Employment Payment Record (P32) report to see your payroll tax liability from there. Let me walk you through the steps.

1. In your QuickBooks Online, click Report from the left menu.
2. Scroll down until you reach the Payroll section.
3. Click the Employment Payment Record (P32) report.
4. On the page, select the appropriate year you want to run.

A PDF file will be downloaded to your computer and open it to see your payroll tax liabilities.
