My monthly automatic payroll journal is using a generic bank account, not the current account I have set up, there seems to be no way of editing it?

We'll be happy to share some guidance on journal mapping in QuickBooks Online Payroll. 

In our new Core Payroll, individual payments are created instead of journal entries. These payments can be found in the payroll accounts in your Chart of accounts.

The bank account that the payroll wage payments post is selected during the pay run. The payments can then be matched to the downloaded bank transactions.

If you need to correct any existing payment entries, you can enter a journal entry with the default account selected on one line, and the current account selected on the other.
