There are a few reasons why the rate is higher than expected. It could be you had a promotional discount that has been expired, so you're now billed with the regular price. Or, a sales tax is added to the base subscription price.
To verify your subscription charge, I suggest reaching out to our customer care support. They can check your account in a secure environment. Here's how:
Click Help inside QuickBooks Online.
Select Contact Us.
Enter "Subscription rate concern" in the description field, then click Let's talk.
Select Chat.
