Already run payroll but used another party to direct deposit. Need help this

Hi usersms-director,

 

QuickBooks Online makes it easy to track your payroll whether it's paid through your account or a third party. I can help walk you through how the payroll service works in QuickBooks Online.

 

When you run payroll through your QuickBooks Online Account it'll automatically allocate the amounts to the right accounts. To make sure your payroll is set to be added to the correct bank account you can go to Gear>Payroll Settings>Accounting. If your payroll was done entirely outside of QuickBooks and you need to make an entry for it I suggest reaching out to your accountant on how to do this. If you don't have an accountant no worries, we can help with that. You can go to: My Accountant>Find a pro to help.
