Can I send payroll even if direct deposit is still pending

Welcome to Community!  QuickBooks Online Payroll is a dynamic way to ensure your staff is paid on time.  I'll be happy to provide more information so you're on the right track!

Once you complete the required elements you'll need to verify a test transaction.  This will be a small debit of less than $1.00 debited from the associated account.  If the transaction hasn't taken place, follow the steps in this guide to re-trigger the transaction.  In the interim, you can still run payroll and pay your staff with paper cheque.
