Currently our Quickbooks Online doesn't allow transactions to be categorized to a tax liability account. Is there a way to remove this restriction?

The function you've described above isn't available in QuickBooks. You're more than welcome to send feature requests by clicking on the Gear icon and looking for Feedback. New product ideas and improvements are largely based on the feedback we get from users like you.
