The operational tabs in your QuickBooks Online account help you easily navigate your account so you can get your work done. I'd be happy to help you resolve the issue you're having with the missing Employees and Taxes tabs.
It sounds like you may be using the mobile app for QuickBooks Online. While the mobile app is a great way to conduct business on-the-go, there's a few features that are limited to the browser version of the program, such as running payroll and filing taxes. This means that the Employees and Taxes tabs will not appear in the app.
If you're using the browser version, I recommend clearing the cache and cookies in your web browser. These are the stored Internet files that can build up and cling to the background of your browser, causing issues with QuickBooks Online and other sites.
