How can I set a mid-month year start and end date as our fiscal year-end is November 15?

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community. QuickBooks offers the versatility you need in order to streamline your accounting with ease. I'll be glad to share more info and help steer you in the right direction. 

The ability to select a mid-month date for your year dates isn't available in QuickBooks. From the Advanced tab in your Company settings there's only the option to select the month for your fiscal year. That being said, I can see the benefit of having this feature and I encourage you to send feedback to our engineers. You can do this by clicking on the Gear icon > Feedback.
