Hi there lorijoybidniak,

 

It's important that you have your employees set up correctly so that they receive the right amount of pay. QuickBooks Online Payroll gives you the option to add additional pay types such as overtime to be able to make sure the pay given to your team is accurate. I can provide some information about additional pay types.

 

In order to add additional pay types, navigate to the Payroll tab, then employees. Select the employee in question, then click Edit employee. Make sure you are in the Pay subsection, then navigate to the section titled How much do you pay (Name of your employee)? There should be a pencil icon located beside Additional pay types which you'd need to select, then you'll be able to check the additional pay types you want to add.
