Thanks for reaching out here. Welcome! I can see how concerning it is, when a direct deposit needs to be cancelled. However, in QuickBooks Online Payroll, once the pay run has been processed, there isn't a way to stop it. You can request a reversal by following this link.

Help in the upper right in QuickBooks Online > enter "Contact support" > hit Contact Us > provide a brief summary of your situation > hit Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
