How do i void a stale dated pay check?

It's important that all your payroll transactions are correctly entered for your books to be well balanced. QuickBooks Online is a great tool able to help you pay your employees for their hours worked. I can point you in the right direction for assistance with voiding pay cheques.

In order to know if you should be voiding this paycheque in your books, I recommend reaching out to your accountant. They'll be able to provide you with the way it should be entered in your books to make sure it's reported properly. You can invite your accountant to your QuickBooks Online account by clicking on the My Accountant tab. There's also an option to find an accountant near you in that section by clicking on the Find a Pro to help button.
