Welcome to Community! Paying your employees with QuickBooks Online Payroll is a great way to ensure they're paid on time. I'll be happy to guide you through the steps to create the pay schedules!
When you Run payroll, you'll use the ▼ dropdown menu to select the Pay period and you can manually change the Pay date. To save time and ensure the pay periods are accurate for future pay dates, here's how to update the pay schedule:
1. Open Settings ⚙, then select Payroll Settings
2. Click Pay Schedules
3. Choose Edit next to the pay schedule you want to update
4. Make the necessary changes or select Delete to remove it
5. Hit Okay to save
